Working Procedure S17
Due to the fact that overbooking of the total seasonal volume as set in the capacity declaration is no longer allowed as per S17, Airport Coordination Netherlands (ACNL) is necessitated to describe how it will manage this new situation. For S17 there is a planning limit (total number of slots available for allocation and eligible for historic precedence, provided that all applicable requirements are met, as determined by the slot coordinator) that equals the capacity. All slots within the declared capacity (see publication on www.slotcoordination.nl) have been allocated at the SAL. This situation is new and is likely to continue. Slot allocation in these new situations is challenging and requires strict adherence to principles, rules and procedures as laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No 95/93, as amended, taking into account the IATA Worldwide Slot Guidelines (WSG), current edition. By publishing this working procedure S17, ACNL wants to clarify how applications and requests are dealt with.”
