Extension of the suspension of Schiphol Local Rule 2 (S21)

On February 23, 2021 ACNL received a request of the Coordination Committee Netherlands (CCN) to extend the suspension of the application of Schiphol Local Rule 2 at least until and including IATA S21 as a result of the current situation in aviation. This request was addressed by the CCN board amongst the CCN members and no objections were received. The rationale for suspended application of the local rule is once again that because of the current situation in aviation, the application of this local rule does not lead to a more efficient use of the available airport capacity. ACNL acknowledges the request from the CCN which means that slot allocation for IATA S21 will be applied in accordance with the regular methods.
