NO-OPS / NO-RECS

In compliance with EU Council Regulation 95/93, as amended and IATA Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines (WASG), ACNL will monitor allocated airport slots that have not been used (no-ops) and flights operated without an allocated airport slots (no-recs).

PROCEDURE

ACNL matches slot data with data from the airport’s about operated flights and will send unmatched slots/flights to the Dutch CAA. For more information see website of the Dutch CAA: Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate

JNUS requests for not operated slots can be applied for as per ACNL’s policy rule Justified Non-Use of Slots (JNUS) for ‘Use it or lose it’ Rule.

SANCTIONING/ ENFORCEMENT

NOOPS that did not classify as force majeure may have impact on the historic percentage rate of the involved series of slots. In case of repetitive misuse ACNL may withdraw the involved series of slots. NOOPS will be reported to the Dutch CAA (ILenT).

Operators that operated without an airport slot are being monitored. NORECS will be reported to the Dutch CAA (ILenT) for enforcement. An overview of these airlines may be published regularly.
