ACNL & CAA-NL published Slot Enforcement Code (SEC) version 2.0

Following a survey conducted among CCN members in Autumn 2024, interviews in Winter 2025 and a CCN consultation in Summer 2025, an updated version (v2.0) of the SEC for The Netherlands has been published by ACNL and The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT/CAA-NL).

The SEC does not establish new (legal) competences, sanctions or forms of slot misuse. It clarifies and elaborates the different forms of slot misuse as defined in the relevant European and Dutch law and additionally in industry guidelines. Furthermore, it provides a transparent overview of the regulatory competences of the monitoring and enforcement bodies.
