Hugo Thomassen will leave Airport Coordination Netherlands
Hugo Thomassen has announced that he will take up the post of Director of Railcenter, the training and innovationcenter for rail infrastructure in the Netherlands, in January 2027. By then, Hugo will have served as a director of Airport Coordination Netherlands for seven years.
Hugo: “The past years have been a special period in my career. I have come to see aviation as a wonderful and dynamic sector, where airlines and airports work tirelessly every day to connect the Netherlands with the rest of the world. It has been a great honour to lead ACNL in ensuring that scarce airport capacity is allocated fairly and as effectively as possible. This sector has won a place in my heart. In a few months’ time, I will be returning to the rail sector to serve the expertise and innovation strength of all staff working on the rail infrastructure at Railcenter.”
In the coming period, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management will begin the process of finding a successor.
